TorontoList publishes a guide to Toronto events, places, businesses, and internships. This policy covers both the website at torontolist.co and the TorontoList iOS app.

Information we collect

TorontoList does not require an account and does not collect personal information to browse listings. The iOS app stores only local preferences (such as your selected theme) on your device using standard system storage.

Server logs and rate limiting

Our content delivery provider processes standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to serve requests, apply rate limits, and protect the service. IP addresses are hashed before being written to rate-limit and access logs, and those logs are short-lived.

Third-party content

Listings are aggregated from public sources, including event calendars, business directories, and public job postings. Following a link to an external site or employer is governed by that third party's privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

TorontoList does not use advertising identifiers, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.

Children

TorontoList is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13.
